Willie Kidd
We are absolutely delighted to announce the signing of Willie Kidd from Whitehill Welfare. Kiddo has turned down many junior and senior opportunities to move from EOS/Lowland league over the years which highlights what a fantastic signing this is for the club.
He is defender with great composure and pace and can chip in with vital goals. He will be a great addition to the squad. A former club captain at Whitehill Kiddo also brings a winning mentality from winning everything the EOS had to offer before Whitehill moved over the Lowland League. His experience and quality will be vital to help us achieve our goal of promotion to the Super League.
Tadg Moriarty
It is great to announce the signing from our near neighbours Arniston Rangers their captain Tadg Moriarty. We are delighted to finally bring Tadg to the club. We have been close to persuading him over the last few seasons to bring him to Kings Park. His former clubs include Celtic, Stirling Albion, Edinburgh City before being at Arniston for the last 9 seasons. He has great ability and will bring a versatility that can be utilised across the back four or in centre midfield. He was outstanding for Arniston last year scoring 15 goals from midfield and is real leader and winner. He is a driving force who will make players round about him play better.
Ewan Ralton
Another fantastic signing for the club is Ewan Ralton from Scottish Junior Cup Finalists Musselburgh Athletic. The ex Livingston youth player has great ability and pace and at only 20 years old has superb potential. He is hungry to kick on at Dalkeith having played a good percentage of games for Musselburgh in the Super League. He is someone we nearly brought to the club in February but due to Musselburgh Scottish Cup run the deal unfortunately didn’t happen. Patience has paid off and thankfully he is now a Jags player.

John Robertson
Another 21s star to join us is John Robertson from the very successful Leith 21s side. We watched Robbo in two cup finals against fellow new Jag Pinkie and we were very impressed in both games. Robbo is a centre midfielder with real presence and good on the ball. An Intelligent player who realises where danger is when more attacking players push forward. Has played junior as a trialist last year for Edinburgh United and will take to Junior football like a duck to water. Comes with a winning mentality and will add good competition for players in the Jags engine room.
John Falconer
We welcome goalie John Falconer. Signed from our local rivals Easthouses Lily who have joined the Junior ranks from the East of Scotland league. John was did well last year for the Lily when they unfortunately lost the league on goal difference to Lothian Thistle Hutchie Vale. Experience goalie who is a good communicator and shot stopper. He will bring much needed competition to the goalkeeping area.
